Michelin-starred restaurants in Mallorca

In 2006, chef Fernando Pérez Arellano moved his restaurant to Mallorca and, since then, he has maintained the prized award from the French guide. As a result of a decade’s work, it earned its second star in the 2016 guide. It is located in the rural hotel Castell Son Claret, in es Capdellà, in the municipality of Calvià. They offer four tasting menus in which Mallorcan and Balearic products are the protagonists.

In the middle of the Sa Coma hotel complexes is this establishment run by Mallorcan chef and owner Tomeu Caldentey. The restaurant offers the so-called Bou Concept, a “dinner in three acts” for ten guests only. The dining experience includes innovative interpretations of classic Mallorcan dishes such as pa amb olí and frito mallorquín. Diners will also be treated to a visual spectacle with a theatrical flourish. It was awarded a Michelin star in 2004, and has since been revalidating it all these years.

In summer you can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine on the terrace with views of the village and the Teix mountain. All the effort made by the couple was rewarded with a Michelin star in 2002.
